Rheumatic heart disease was the most common AHD seen in 37(42.7%) patients, followed by dilated cardiomyopathy/myocarditis in 26(32.7%) patients and pericardial effusion in 9(10.9%) patients. Less common lesions encountered were Kawasaki disease, infective endocarditis and endomyocardial fibrosis.
