Thus the study determined seroprevalence, factors associated and awareness of brucellosis among university students at CUHAS in Mwanza - Tanzania Methodology: A laboratory based cross-sectional study that was conducted between April to August2023 at the university. The study involved undergraduate university students that involved a minimum of 149 blood sample sizes. Detection of Brucella antibodies (IgG & IgM) was done using Serum Agglutination Test (SAT). Data was analysed by using STATA version 13 according to objectives of the study. Results: The median [IQR] age of participants was 23[19-32], overall positivity of brucellosis was 3% (6/200), gender, rate of milk and meat consumption, testing and receiving treatment of brucellosis showed an association with seropositivity of brucellosis. Conclusion: This study therefore established the seroprevalence, factors associated and awareness of brucellosis among university students at Catholic University of Health and Allied Sciences (CUHAS) in Mwanza – Tanzania also update the epidemiological data round the university due to the known disease that helped to develop essential strategies against the diseases, data from the study may be used to formulate evidence based in Infection and Prevention control measures (IPC).
