Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted among pharmaceutical personnel. Knowledge and perception were assessed by using both English and Swahili translated Self-administered questionnaires for data collection, response for knowledge were categorized as good, fair and poor. While perception responses as positive, neutral and negative respectively. Results: Overall knowledge results showed that 35(46.1%) of pharmaceutical personnel were having poor knowledge regarding falsified medicine 21(27.6%) had fair knowledge and 20(26.3%) had good knowledge. Overall perception results showed that 37(48.7%) had neutral perception regarding falsified medicines, 17(22.4%) had a negative perception and only 22(28.9%) had a positive perception. Conclusion: Overall perception results showed that 37(48.7%) had neutral perception regarding falsified medicines, 17(22.4%) had a negative perception and only 22(28.9%) had a positive perception. Conclusion: Majority of pharmaceutical personnel in this study had poor knowledge and neutral perceptions regarding falsified medicines.
