Diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) is a major challenge for the healthcare system, with enormous economic consequences for people living with diabetes, their families, and society, affecting both quality of life and quality of care. The study is to determine prevalence of diabetic foot ulcer (DFU) and complications amongst patient’s diabetes mellitus (DM).

Objectives: The main of this study was to assess prevalence of diabetic foot ulcer and complications among diabetic patients attending Bugando medical centre from January 2019 to August 2019.

Method: It was analytical retrospective hospital based study.
