The age group 3-5 years contributed to a higher proportion by 44.59% of the total studies population. From the study, the findings showed that SCA is more prevalent in males (56.76%) than in females (43.24%) A higher proportion of SCA were found to present with anemia crisis (31.76%) followed by painful crisis (22.30%). Malaria and pneumonia were found to be the most common causes of morbidity among SCA children with accounted for 33.78% and 26.35% respectively.
