Gynecological morbidity refers to condition of ill health unrelated to pregnancy episodes, such as pelvic inflammatory disease, benign lesion of female reproductive tract such as uterine fibroid, malignancy lesion of female reproductive tract such as uterine fibroid, malignancy lesion of female reproductive tract, genital prolapse, endometriosis, and some of the condition of early pregnancy may be found in gynecological wards in most areas of our setting. Mwananyamala hospital is one of the big government hospital located in Kinondoni district in Dar es Salaam Tanzania, it severe people Kinondoni district and nearly areas also it receive referral case from all health centers and dispensary situated in Kinondoni, it has both inpatient and outpatient service. The aim of doing this field attachment to Mwananyamala hospital was to know what are the common gynecological disease at Mwananyamala hospital and acquire skill and knowledge on managing them, to participate and observe various gynecological procedures and how to manage gynecological emergency. For the period of four weeks at Mwananyamala hospital, 120 cases I have seen and among these fibroid was found to be the commonest followed by PID, ectopic pregnancy, incomplete abortion, ovarian cysts, and abnormal uterine bleeding. Other case which were not so common were cervical carcinoma, genital prolapsed, trophoblastic disease, threaten abortion, missed abortion, hyperemiss gradidarum, malaria in pregnancy and infertility.
