Summary, etc. Abstract:<br/><br/>Background: since the beginning of the nursing professional, nursing perceived and regarded as a female professional due to different perception and view toward nursing professional, such perception and view includes caring and compassionate which in fact women have caring nature compared to men, this study aimed to assess male undergraduate students’ perception toward men who join nursing <br/><br/>Method: a descriptive cross-section study was conducted at CUHAS-bugando consisted 280 undergraduate students at CUHAS, sample were selected by random sampling and data were collected then analyzed by SPSS.<br/><br/>Result: the finding of this study revealed that more than half of the participants 68.5% have positive perception toward men who join nursing and only few participants 3.3% have neutral perception toward men who join nursing also finding show that more than half of participants 61.1% disagreed with the feminine nature of the nursing profession<br/><br/>Conclusion: The findings of this research are important in terms of providing insights that may lead us towards a new direction in addressing nursing student recruitment.<br/><br/>
