Summary, etc. Abstract<br/><br/>Background: The research project aimed at assessing knowledge and attitude towards non communicable diseases and risk factors among undergraduates at CUHAS. Various studies have shown an increase in number of young people suffering from non-communicable diseases and points out about inadequate knowledge and attitude. What is knowledge and attitude towards Non-communicable diseases and risk factors among undergraduates at CUHAS?<br/><br/>Method: The cross-sectional study was conducted at CUHAS for undergraduates from 11 April to 28 May 2023, sample size was 354, used SPSS version 27 for data analysis.<br/><br/>Results: 211(59.6%) females, 143(40.4%) males were recruited. Mean age was 22.9±2.4. There was Moderate knowledge (52.3%) and positive attitude (60.1%). No correlation between knowledge and attitude, r=-0.01, p=0.8.<br/><br/>Discussion: The study assessed the Knowledge and attitude towards non communicable diseases and risk factors among undergraduates at CUHAS. Females 59.6% age was 18 to 24 consistent to Ithnin et al in terms of age and inconsistent in terms of gender. 84.2% appreciate that NCDs is a growing concern in our country consistent to Mary Mayige et al. 19.5% did not give correct answer of hypertension risk factor which is high salt intake.<br/><br/>Conclusion: Moderate knowledge and positive attitude indicate a good understanding of non-communicable diseases whereas no correlation between knowledge and attitude can be due to various factors such as lack of adequate knowledge and education on NCDs risk factors. <br/>
