Summary, etc. Abstract:<br/><br/>Diarrhoea is the passage of loose or watery stools occurring three or more time in a 24-hour period, it is usually a symptom of an infection in the intestinal tract, which can be caused by a variety of bacterial, viral, and parasitic organisms. In 2016 diarrhoea remained the 2nd leading cause of death among children under 5 globally, it kills more young children than AIDS. In Tanzania diarrhoea disease was much due to the infection of rotavirus and introduction of rotarix vaccine in Tanzania in early January 2013 helps in reduction of diarrhoea in under five children by great percentage. Improvement of hygiene and sanitation, diet. Medications, and supplements which are generally classified as health care, breastfeeding, immunization, supplemental zinc, and probiotics are the strategies that helps to prevent diarrheal disease among under five year children.<br/><br/>Aim of the research: Is to determine the prevalence and associated factors for diarrhoea disease among under five year children. For this purpose, competitive strategy tools for prevention of diarrhoea among under five year children can be implemented.<br/><br/>Methodology: The study was conducted at Bugando Medical Centre in Nyamagana district in Mwanza Region, United Republic of Tanzania and it was a health facility based cross sectional study. Study population is under five years children who attending BMC. Sample size was obtained by using Kish Leslie formula.<br/><br/>Expectation of the study is that, the study will help to understand the burden of diarrhoea among under five year children and to identify associated factors in this age group. Understanding associated factors will help to create preventive strategy efforts.<br/><br/>
