Summary, etc. Abstract: <br/><br/>Introduction: Tanzania is estimated to have 6351 pediatric TB cases (10%) of the new and relapse TB cases notified were children less than 15 years of age. 3,054 (48%) were children less than 5 years while 1,674 (26%) were 5-9 years and 1,679 (26%) were age group of 10-14 years. Majority of pediatric cases is estimated to be 10% of the new and relapse cases. <br/><br/>Objective of the study: To determine the magnitude of mortality and its associated factors among children treated for Tuberculosis at Sengerema hospital. <br/><br/>Methodology: The study was a retrospective clinic based study involved all children aged below 15 years who were treated for Tuberculosis. The study commenced from March through May 2020. <br/><br/>Results: The study involved 154 children that received treatment in SDDH who have complete data. Among those 89 were boys while 65 are girls equal to 57.8 and 42.2 respectively. The mean age of participants was 4 years with the minimum age of 6 months. The prevalence of mortality was 3.9%. The important predictor of mortality among children with TB in this study was HIV.<br/><br/>Conclusion: The magnitude of mortality among children with tuberculosis at Sengerema hospital is still high. Prompt case detection and appropriate treatment are paramount. <br/><br/>
