Summary, etc. Abstract: <br/><br/>Background: Preeclampsia (toxemia) is a disorder of widespread vascular endothelial malfunction and vasospasm that occurs after 20 week’s gestation and can present as late as 4-6 week postpartum. It is clinically defined by hypertension and proteinuria, with or without pathologic edema. It incidence varies from 2% to 10% worldwide. Since there was no know exactly the maternal and fetal outcome here at Bugando medical centre in which the results will help in proper screening and management of patients with severe pre eclampsia. <br/><br/>Methods: The prospective women pre eclampsia were enrolled in the study from 15th of November to 15th of December with the mean age of 25 – 35, 8 (53.3%) in this study the incidence were 0.014%. and the most common risk factor was Primigravidae 46.7% and the most precedent symptoms were edema 53.3%, followed by headache 6.7%. Out of them only four women developed complication in which eclampsia were 20.0% followed by death 6.7% while out of 15 deliveries 6 (40%) developed complication had the most complication were IUFD 26.7% followed by stillbirth 6.7% and prematurity 6.7%. <br/><br/>Conclusion: Pre eclampsia is still the most common cause of complication in pregnant women and fetus thus proper supervision by skill personally and proper management will reduce the frequency of complication to both maternal and fetus. <br/>
