This made a total of 380 respondents. Data was collected using structured questionnaire and interview then analyzed by SPSS for windows version 16.0.

Results: Overall most of patients were with good perception on the pharmaceutical care they were receiving at Bugando medical centre compared to those with negative perception on the service. This good perception were on the context of hospitality of service providers, short waiting time of pharmaceutical services and absent of favoritism in services provision. Some patients were with negative perception on the quality of the service on various aspects such as lack some drugs, disturbance in registration in computer system, lack of giving of information on drugs side effects, lack of privacy and confidentiality and small space of dispensing area.

Conclusion: The pharmaceutical personnel should understand areas that weaken good pharmacy practices/pharmaceutical care so that effort and strategies can be made and plan to achieve high quality of pharmaceutical care service delivery.
