Data was analyzed by using STATA version 13 software according to the objective of the study.

Results: the total of 455 adult febrile of 72.9= 1.8 C. Majority of the patients 389(78.9%) were from urban areas. Among 455 febrile patients enrolled, none of them was found to be infected with Borrelia spp

Conclusion and recommendation: Borrelia spp. Is not among the cause of fever among febrile patients in Mwanza.
